A 27 minute film written and directed by Brian W. White. This Award Winning film explores Mike's unique character as a professional musician and a family man. It digs deep into what makes him the most unique and accomplished harmonica player of all time. From his rigorous training regimen, to his appearances at the Grand Ole Opry, the film captures the true spirit of Mike Stevens.

The film crew followed Mike from his home in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada to Tennessee. They followed Mike to such locations as George Gruhn's Guitars, the Gallatin Civic Centre, Cedar Vine Manor and of course, the Grand Ole Opry.

Harmonica Crossing explores how this Canadian musician crossed the boundaries of southern tradition, to become a well respected part of Bluegrass. It also explores Mike's "other-worldly" side, with a peak into his more experimental sounds. The film is full of music, charm and is just plain fascinating.
